Absolutely original condition rare Automat toy with a magnetic mechanism in his original packaging. The box construction is made of wood. On the top, sides and the back side lithographed paper. The back is representing a very pretty German city scene showing a mother with a child playing in the park. The toy itself is representing a circus Scene. The figures are made of wood and composition, on a metal plate base. The carriage is also made of wood and composition and metal wheels. By moving the handle a music appears and the figures start to turn in circles around. The figures are representing a clown, a bear and a lady in a horse carriage.The Automat comes in his original wooden box, the figures come in their own little card board box, on the top of it is the description of the toy. Very rare toy, especially to find them in their original boxes an in this condition. Very fine made tiny figures. Museum quality. Germany ca. 1870-1880.

Note: there are some problems with the magnet piece at the moment we are trying to repair it. Please contact us for more informations.

Condition: generally good and original condition, just the extremely fine legs of the horse are damaged, tail is missing, some tiny feather trees are missing. (See pictures) Music works perfectly. For the magnetic mechanism has some problems and not working,  needs to add a piece of metal in the middle of the circle so in this way it maces the figures move, old metal piece is included!
